THE PROBLEM
No centralized system across 9 accounts
VYRL Media runs creative for 9+ podcast and entertainment clients, each with distinct audiences, brand voices, and visual identities. When I joined, every landing page, social post, email header, pitch deck, and event graphic was built from scratch or pieced together from scattered files.

The constraint: fast-moving agency workflows meant I couldn't pause production to build systems. Everything had to be built in parallel with ongoing client work — no downtime, no design system sprints.
THE APPROACH
How God Works: the system, built once
Standardizing visual foundations, creating reusable templates, and documenting usage so non-designers could self-serve were part of the design systems I built. How God Works is the clearest example of this work. They had a logo, basic color palette, and scattered creative assets, but no formal brand guidelines and no repeatable templates.

Brand foundations
Audited existing creative to extract patterns — minimalist typography, blue accent color, clean photography — then codified them into a formal style sheet: logo lockups, color palette, type scale, usage rules. This became the single source of truth.

Template systems for recurring content
Built modular templates for 4 core content types. Each maintained brand consistency while being fast to execute — fixed layout grids, swappable image zones, lockable brand elements.
